Punch whoever told you it was the climate control in the ovaries.

You need a manual ECU - Either that, or a J3 chip with a manual tune, available from http://www.tiperformance.com.au/

As mentioned in the other thread, you'll need an EL ECU if you have an EL.

I assume you are running the Auto ECU at the moment with the resistor trick. Make sure the resistors are the correct resistance and wired up correctly. One of the resistors will trick the Auto ECU that it is in neutral, and the other resistor is to tell the ECU that the transmission is at operating temperature. If you have the incorrect resistor for the temperature one, the thermo fans will kick in thinking the transmission is too hot.

Hope that helps.

im not even doing the resistor trick its just running straight off the auto ecu...which is why it is running like crap and the thermo fans are on and revs are high

Well, go do the resistor trick like everyone else in the world has done and fix the problem. It's really quite simple. :D

It is quite simple :D...what I did was keep the auto loom and just bent the resistor ends and plugged them in, then just taped the plug back up...so if I f**k up, it would have been easier to just unplug the resistors rather then soldering it. No problems after 2 years.
