I was lucky enough to drive my mums car today which is an EL falcon ex cop car, and i couldn't help noticing the huge difference between it and my car (EF Falcon Gli). Its just so much more responsive and smoother than mine. Does anyone know what these ex cop cars came with that increased the performance, like a computer chip or LSD or anything? if so i want to do it on my EF.

not to sure i think that they just have a some typ of chip in it i was looking at one a while back and the sales man said that it just has a cop chip in it

Mine is for sale. $6000 ono. Search the other forum's For Sale thread. I haven't don't have enough posts to put a for sale thread here.
Having said that. LSD, ABS, Dual Airbags, Cop ECU, Cop Instrument Cluster, Trans oil cooler, Mid series BEM, map lights front & back. As I've said 100 times before, probably some stuff I don't realise too. |

Oh, cop instrument cluster also incorporates a oil pressure sensor (not sender), battery voltage, coolant low indicator.

I reckon they have the XR 3.45 diff in it.

No they are different Cop cluster speedo can be adjusted, so if you get a bigger diff etc no problems with the speedo being out. |

i got under it today, the diff had a sticker on it which said 6DC 3.23.1 ratio. is that a good LSD???

gli's don't have em they just have the plate that says 'falcon'.
