car is quit sluggish like not a smooth rev till about 3000rpm what could be the problem

id say fuel filter could be blocked, or the cat could be blocked.

get under the car (when cool) and knock on the cat. if you hear rattling then it's shagged itself.

If it's fine, id suggest that the fuel filter is clogged and until 3000rpm there isn't enough pressure to push the fuel through the blockage.

So my advice is to get the fuel filter changed (cheap and easy) and just check the state of your cat.

Has it always been like this ? or did it just start happening recently...

Bourne is right about it possibly being the fuel filter/catalytic converter

it just started and it runs really hot dad thinks theres air in my cooling system (cooling pump)

Hmmmm sounds like a head gasket. How is the colour of the coolant and or oil.

oil looks normal and so is the coolent no off colour or any thing so i getting a new raditor and thermo the person b4 me who own the car had just water running through it and the the resiorvior dirty and black so flushed it all and yeah

got the exact same prob.

wasnt the cat or the fuel filter. car idles like a piece of s**t too

got reco AU injectors and another filter to throw at it.

i'll put them in, in a fortnight. let you know how i go.
