My EL XR6 is currently on dual fuel, and stock as.

I've spent alot of cash fixing all the problems I've run into since purchasing it, and now it's completely dead again. Sitting in my driveway after a tow.

I went to the shops, and it was running horribly. Missing very hard on breaking, and coughing and spluttering, so I parked it, and left it for a little while. Got it started again on petrol, and as i've experienced in the past, it runs horribly on petrol (untill I got a new dizzy), so as I was heading home, I got the rev's up, and flicked it over to gas. The car simply died. I pulled over, and tried to start it on petrol, nothing. Tried it on Gas, it backfired very badly. The starter motor is fine, it turns the engine over, and then it dies. Feels like it's getting no juice.

Over the past 4 months I've gotten :
New headgasket
Transmission serviced
New dizzy
New fuel filter
New plugs
Exhaust and cat cleaned and tested
Several general services

Any ideas? I'm about to change my coil, but other than that, fuel pump? dual fuel problem? It was working the best it ever had after I got the dizzy and timing re-done a few weeks ago, then deteriorated to dead in under a week.

If the coil doesn't work I guess i'll slug the tow back to my mechanic, and let him sus it out.

Cheers.

check vac lines. most likely blown off or damaged.

Im having similar issues (not on gas). seems to be timing related. could be Aux shaft or some sort of crank sensor of some sort.

also look at new injectors preferably on ebay as they are way cheaper for your fuel side

all three is my guess
crank angle sensor/coil and vac lines
check your air box too
i've killed 1 and heaps of clips lol

does your heater/fans/demister still work?
i'd check this first as if it don't it's a line blown off somewhere

Map sensor vacum hasn't come off?

Duel fuel (yes duel, they fight each other) cars don't agree with me either.
They never seem to run right...
