bigger isent alwasy better
the fuse is there to protect the cable( stop it from catching fire)
130 watts
2 head lights 260 watts / 12v =21.6 A
as long as the fuse is bigger then thatit will be fine ( assumong thats all thats on that fuse ie that it dosent run a heap of other stuff)

thanks for the input, your correct about bigger not always being better, these 130w suck, but still don't know where the fuse is.

on e-series, they have a curcit breaker under the coolant tank, next to the ECU or fuel pump relays, they are rated at 60amps ... I'd upgrade that before doing anything with brighter lights, OR add extra driving lights, if anyone has had a problem with EF/EL headlights ficking from parkers to normal, its the curcit breaker ....

Laticia!!

There s**t because of the small reflector inside the ef/el headlight. I fitted some 55w driving lights in the bumper inserts on my EL_Monty usind a 12v relay, trigger of high beam, inline fuse etc and it has improved high beam light spread dramatically. Also looks neat, tidy and factory looking.

yea ive only just done the same thing, only im using 55w yellow foggys, which have managed to bring the high beam up to standard (just), there soon to be aided by 55w HID cibie driving lights :D
