i think us hybrid owners might be able to solve the problem with our cams !! i thought if we got a au cam of some sort eg. au xr6 cam and put it in with a hp3 chip torque performance chip i think that will solve the problem and run sweet?? any suggestions ?? has anyone tryd it ???

just to clear up a question i have when you refer to a "hybrid" is that just the el motor with an AU head on it, cuase i was thinking of fitting the AU head to my XH!

yep - the 'last' of the EL's were fitted with EL bottom end & AU head etc - there is a big thread about it all in the forum here somewhere...

Can you please not drag this up for the 3rd time? (according to my watched topics you've asked about this no less than 3 times now)

I've already suggested a crow cam with chip that might work but I guess any AU cam with a tunable chip should work. Theres no guarantees that it will work properly let alone produce a gain that made the outlay worth it... i.e. spend $1500 and found its no better than stock.

I don't have the time or money to try it.
