here is a pic of the beautiful camels back in the stock EL intake plenium pipe.

it doesnt make that much difference, if you look at the pipe at that point where the hump is the cross section has actually been increased to compensate for that, thats why that part of the pipe is wider than the rest of it...

ok at first i doubted this thread.

i just went out with a torch and undone the flexi pipe and shown a torch up the plastic intake pipe on the plenium.

wow that lump in there is a huge restriction, i can't believe that they would put an obstruction like that in the intake.

time to go to an exhaust shop or autobarn and get a replacement 3in pipe that keeps it's diameter.

At wide open throttle that speed bump does not help................

I cut that so called camel hump out years ago and made a piece to go in there to make it perfectly round, it made no difference that i could tell.
Though i am sure someone else will tell you otherwise.
Notice how i quoted you, i have blocked myself from reading the other guys posts LOL.

well then how did you get the bolts to go back in the threads on the plenium. it would be sitting way too high and look d**k.

i am going to see my mate at the exhaust shop again and get this noticeable flaw fixed properly.

superglue and plastic pipe fixes don't wash with me. dodgy s**t......

Hahaha you wouldn't qualify as a Sidchrome, more like a "Supatool".
Notice how i said my car was an EF!?!?
Well an EF plenum doesn't have a provision to bolt the intake pipe to it... But of course you realised that didn't you?

Just quit while you're already way behind, only you and your alter ego EL__Fairmont agree with eachother, everyone else sees you as a "Supatool" who tries to shove s**t down peoples throats without any proof to backup your claims.

This is the second time you've come up with crap, and both times nobody has agreed with you, and considering we have so many guys with actual experience it tells us you're a show bag... I'm sure you know what a show bag contains!

falcon4litreOHC was the guy trying to flog his 'Simota intake pipes' a while back.
Dunno who you are mate, but what you are is a 5 star noodle.
And EF's faster then EL's? Pfft.. who cares?
EAs are faster then both!

you can change you location every time you make a fool of yourself but you can't change your IP address if you're on broadband. hehehehe

are u to ashame to be Tasmanian, I'm not from Tasmania myself but glad I am, even if I make a fool of myself..... you tool!

ive had a gut feeling about that one for along time.

so we have had
the un inclosed pod giving huge gains.

now the standard ef setup is even better than that!

I want to put 60w 80 oil in my car becuase the extra thickness will increase friction thus giving my car a more lumpy idle and a bit of a V8 burble as well.

So i am told...
