g'day i was wondering where can ya get a complete rocker gear assemble ?? and wat the price would b ?? was planning to change the parts out of my cyl head to a el 4l set instead of having hybrid 4l rocker gear!! suggestions would b good .. thanks

yer it will be changing the ratio's back to the normal e-series ratio thats if ya remove all the gear in the hybrid head and replace wiv e-series gear!!! i think thats how it works !!! correct me if im wrong thanks

im trying to find out at the moment ! but from wat i heard bout these hybrid motors that they got a el 4l block and a au head ... so im trying to find out how to get around it so i can get a cam for it ... and start doing it up .. vibr8n hav u got the same problem wiv me ?? and got a hybrid engine??

heads are very similar. effecively now you'll have the best head, with the best valves (AU are bigger), the smallest ports (potential is huge though) and a rocker ratio that allows a larger cam choice

are you goin to reco the head though or lookin for the easy swap-over ?
from what i understand theres little known bout hybrids. well as far as i'm concernced i know fcuk all.. lol
maybe worth looking into piston/valve clearances between the two though.
i see you reasoning but maybe worth buying a second hand el head, smaller valves but bigger ports. & if your gettin it reco'd then you could get the bigger valves put in. then everything is kosher.
