Just go to the wreckers or walk along the side of the road, I'm sure there's heaps.

Either way, that's where they end up when the wheels fall off.

Or at any tyre/wheel shop that requires money over safety.

not very nice comments there krytox

i've had the 35mm spacers on my el for 2 years without a problem

the only problem i have heard about them is when people use the skyline spacers with the metric 12.5mm studs and put the metric nuts on the falcon imperial studs

In my defense, there is a reason they're not a roadworthy item in Victoria (and more states) in Aus.

I also try to convince people of these facts, as I also have a family and have seen wheels come off.

Widening of a wheel track to fit bling isn't the smartest idea, and yes thousands of people do it.

i have only ever heard about the problem with spacers/adaptors in the 1 car in wa.
by fitting the adaptors and au wheels to an el u arent neccesarily widening the track though.
my spacers are fitted to my family car (2 adults 2 kids)
and i dont see any difference in having e series offset wheels as they have thicker hubs anyway

i saved this pic ages ago, thought it might be usefull here.

p.s. wheel spaces should be in the "driveline" section one would think as its not really a 6cyl motor question.
