Hey guys, I'm about to go pick up a BA XR6T snorkel i as wondering if they will fit onto an EL XR6 without to much difficulty? Thanks, Sam

I was told they are the same as the AU tickford snorkels so I guess it would fit. You might need to drill 2 holes for the screws though...but that is an easy task.

ba xr6t snorkel is 100% identical to the au tickford one (whatever it is with the tickford wings)

my mate sold the tickford one on ebay last week for $106 and i bought my xr6t one brand new from FTG for $40... might be able to get cheaper at other places etc...

but the snorkel is 100% identical except 1 has tickford wings moulded on it one doesnt.

wtf is the diffrence with them?
they all look the same...so the ba one has a bigger mouth..2-3mm bigger?
what diffrence does that make to the car anyway?

Yeah it fits up but you have to drill new wholes otherwise it sits on an angle

You would get better response. A little can go a long way. If you have a better filter and a custom intake, you might just feel the difference.

Old thread, but I have a BA intake snorkel and it fouls on the thermo fans, is there any other options other than butchering a set of fans?
