Hey guys,
It's looking like I may have to auction off my EL XR6 for only about $4000. It's a '96 EL XR6 Heritage Green, Auto with 257,000k's. Tried asking $7000 for it, but no interest so far & I really need to get rid of it! Just wondering, ...is there any stuff I can swap over onto my Red EF before I put it in auction? i.e: Cam & springs? Red rocker cover? Fuel pressure regulator? Anything else?

have you tryed on car sales?
IIRC its not to expensive and it can sit there till its sold. dont bother swapping cam and springs if your going a stage 2, you will need new ones. rocker cover isnt worth swapping either really, basically identical, and having a non red rocker cover on a T motor could affects peoples opinion looking for an xr6. i would put it on carsales at 7500 if you havnt already, should get some bites, just get the WA rego on it.

Good on ya Gaz! OK mate, will look at car sales. Did I tell you that I took it over the pits to get it registered ...and it failed! Needed 4 new tyres ($300), new muffler ($300), windscreen chip repairs ($60) ...cleaned me out to the point that I now can't afford to take it back for re-inspection, because I have no money to pay for the stamp duty etc. until payday in 3 weeks time. 
also needs new S5 solenoid & gearbox service (another $350), so probably another $600 to spend on it to even get it ready for sale! 
Will have to put it & the BA XR6T on Carsales ASAP, ...or I will have to chow down with the cats next month, too!

Thanks mate, will look into that, too. Popped an ad on Carsales for the EL last nite, will chuck one on for the BA tonite...
