even with the head 164kw vs 157kw there not that much of a difference.

Its a nice little mod but but XR6 cam without XR6 head and ecu won't do much really

the good part of teh XR package (not just the cam) is much more torque than a stocky. And it's torque that's fun.

the i noticed the torque more when the cam was in my old ea which was auto maybe because this car has the 5 speed i dont notice it as much but its only a fill in cam untill the new head has been finshed porting then a wade 1004 @ 10 deg will be going in.

I didnt think there was much differnt between the 5 speed ecu's i know mine doesnt have a rev limiter

I went from a standard EL head to a tickford EF head, and the biggest difference was easily the extra midrange power. Also a little more down low, and the car doesn't seem to 'choke' as bad up high.

Summary: i found my gains to be in the midrange (2,000-4,000rpm)
