Put my ED Fairmont fitted with EL XR6 auto driveline on the dyno on the weekend spun off 115rwkw and 304nm, was expecting a bit more.
Engine is stock, JMM hi-flow intake, JMM headers, 2.5in sports exhaust including hi-flow cat.
Is that reading acceptable of should I have got more?

Does any one know if the EF intake pipework is better that the EL style? cause the EF has a longer travel which is similar to the mandrel bent intake systems available?

I had a JMM 3000 stallie in but burnt rebuilt box out in 2weeks I think the oil pump failed aswell. The stallie was great thirsty on fuel though.

I assume thats the R-Spec 3 your talking about, no stallie required... Old Stage 3 is current R-Spec 5 that WOULD need a stallie.

just to clear that up.

Bingo.

As dc_todd said, Rspec3 won't need a stallie, it idles like a f**k stocker, but with the auto I would consider at least 3.45diff, and if you want good 1/4 mile times, a stallie would definately help.
Will confirm it in new car, with adjustable camgear, but in the old ED with 3.45 and rpsec3, power didn't start to come on hard till about 30kph, so you did get a bit of lag from a standing start.

I think your result sounds reasonable. But as has been said, different dyno different day will most-likely see different results.

The 1/4 mile is a better gauge in my opinion.
