OK I have heard that using things like 10mm top gun leads and iridium plugs is pointless as the electrical system in the car is putting out max power.
What needs to be changed to get power gains from your electrical system?
How much power is there to be gain from the ignition system?

thanks mate. What kind of gains would be expected from upgrading TFI system and the coil? What would I be expecting to pay. (Assuming of course that 10mm topguns and NGK Iridium IX plugs are installed at the same time

from memory, the thick film modualtors are around the 240 mark but dont quote me. the only gains from these AFAIK will be a stronger brighter spark which helps mostly with your throttle response.
you wont notice bugger all difefrence in power though.
BPT is your best option for finding this stuff out, should pay to EMail the guys there, helpful bunch :)
