I know this is essentially all the ebay +kw chip is but is there any gains from doing what is explained in the article

Im only interested because in am driving an EF - no dizzy
Is this an effective alternate way to advance timing?

I dunno how people can smoke crack and type at the same time, looks dumb, but im not an auto electricion, if your looking for a cheap and easy upgrade, try a Wade cam regrind and a J3 custom tune, even if they modify your car for cam spec, without dyno she will come to life, i only paide $200ish for the cam, $180 for the chip+tune and than a $2 entry fee for Upull it for shims.
Cant beat that mate! aslong as you can cam her up ya self.
