Needing to drop my dizzy in to the au motor and there is a cap or something covering the hole but I cant seem to find a way to get it off :oops: . Anyone able to tell me how it is removed ?

There is not a cap but a Synchronizer, it takes the place of a distributor and has a clamp holding it in like a Distributor one. :)

Thanks, now I have taken the clamp off so is this just meant to pull out

you should be able to lift it out.

it would be a wise move to remove the drive gear from the sync and fit it to your dizzy.
While doing that make sure the positioning of the gear is correct aswell
there have been reports of mismatched gears causing BAD wear.

It should pull out. if its a little tight, pry it with a flat head screw driver.

making sure motor is on No1 fireing TDC mark first---maks life so much easier :D
