Can I have a list of people who are like IT's, because I want to go for a Stage 1 sort of set up, and the price is what I want to pay considering it would cost me a around the same amount of money to fix the head gasket.

Only prob is IT's is in NSW.

so if anybody knows people in Melbourne that can help me, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Resurface the head and gasket

Raise the compression a little.

Put in a mild stage 2 cam

Put in a set of extractors.

Perhaps a set of valve springs wouldn’t go astray.

This was what was recommended to me from the CVE performance for a touch under $1600. To me it sounds like a good price, or is it a little high?

check this guys out. Australia's first CNC head porting. I would buy a stage 3 motor from them in the future. they've got a street performer stage 3 head for $824.

contact them on the link provided & ask if its possible. some times you just gotta think outside the square... technology has improved alot since the max limit of the i6 4L, A/N.

you just gotta find where else instead of going to the same people every one else recommends. otherwise they'll just monopolize the industry & set the prize at what ever. just look a C.A.P.A. if there were 10 or more supercharger specialist around australia you wouldn't be paying $800 dollars for a powerdyne mounting bracket.

ops..... what was your question again?

I got quoted a tad under $1600 is that good, or is it a bit of a rip?

that i could only happen if workshops come on board and start sponsoring, otherwise its free advertising for them.
nice idea though.

Yes... There are only 2 shops / groups of people that do this kind of work and support/donate/sponsor Fordmods. It would be unfair to advertise someones shop name for free when there are others here good enough to donate to the site for the advertising.

Unless of course, the other names on this list start to sponsor the site as well.
