did the ticky ecu make much diff? i've got a pov pack manual ecu in mine...

ummm it idled abit better and the rev didnt seem to hang like they did with the auto ecu.

oh and fuel consumption was better.

i've never had a normal manual ecu but i dont think there wouldnt be much dif ey.

Bump up the base idle to a point where it stops stalling... Its a trial and error thing to get it to not stall and not over rev at idle.

Remember, you have an auto ECU that is tuned to have a heavy torque converter behind the engine. The revs die down alot slower on an auto. The ECU is most likely not expecting the revs to drop so quickly and doesnt have the tune to counter that.

If you convert from auso to manual you must change the ECU as well . Disconnect the battery when doing the ECU c/over

There are ways around having to use the manual ecu mate, you can do some small modifications that will allow the auto ecu to work fine, not perfectly as well, but close.

Mine does this as well... I think my car has a learning disability because its still doing it after a month from the conversion. maybe it needs some dexies.
