Does anyone know where I can get an engine fitted for around the $500 - $600 mark?
I'm buying the engine this week and I need someone to fit it. northern suburbs of melbourne. I've been quoted between $700 and $1,000 which I think is a bit steep. I basically need the old motor ripped out and the new one put in with all the add-on bits from the old motor....pumps, alternator etc. put on to the new engine. cheers.

for that price i would buy/borrow an engine crain and buy a max ellerys manual and do it urself. it aint that hard. get a mate or 2 to help for a carton.

Why dont you ask some FORD MOD peeps from in and around your area to give you a hand like the guys did in WA mate slap on some piss and barbie then donate some of the $$$ you save to Ford Mod's ????
