how tight should you do up the new filter?
do u need that filter tighener thingy?

You should only use that tool to loosen the filters, doing the filter up as tight as you can by hand should be sufficient, just make sure you put new oil on the 'O' ring and make sure it doesn't move out of the groove while you're screwing it up.
