I have a 95 EF Gli 4sp Auto and i have just noticed a very quiet and quick rattle when i turn the car off. i was not able to find very much info but i did find a post that suggested that it is an oil problem. When i turn the car onto accessories & Crank the car the the Oil and battery lights come on. (bat comes on all the time i think just thought i should tell ya anyway). I checked the oil 10mins ago and it is about 1cm from full so i will top it up but because it is close full i dont think this is the prob. i cant really tell ya where the noise comes from, except that it comes from the Engine or in the area.

if any one know what the prob may be and how to fix it please share you knowledge with me

thanks.

Try it with the oil topped up first and post if it fixes it.
If it still does it, try and feel if the engine gives a little shudder when it rattles and check if the car's running even a little hotter than normal.
