unbolting the zorst is fun for a lil while, (ive done it twice, once for some paddok work vids, and another was driving it to have the exhaust that i have on now fited.

i have 2.5" pipe, with one very highflowing muffler (it not an off the shelf system, and it is over legal limits, but sounds great, save some cash and do it the right way, or hunt around and youll get a second hand exhaust for cheap.

p.s. i drove a commo with the common "remove the rear muffler trick" done, it sounded crap compared to the exhaust the guy put on a few weeks later.

For f**k's Ssake put your exhaust back to normal before you lose any more brain cells.
Not only is it dangerous to you and the people in your car it makes it unroadworthy.

heaps of people have done that giv the guy a brake, if he gets busted by police or gets sik fom poisenis fuems thats his problem.

if you want a good sounding system get 2.5 inch cat back with no mufflers, almost as loud as no cat back at all but the sound isnt as annoying and dosent come out the front of the car.
i remember when i first got my ef and took out the everything apart from the extractors and man that sounded sweet but you cant have it like that all the time

seeing as you are in adelaide try U-Pullit, can get a whole exaust for about $50 and if you go each week might be able to find a sports one... it only cosy a buck to get in and they have heaps of E-series to get an exhaust off of. I did that with the car my son used to have. got spoerts ehaust for $50 and found some king springs as well for $70 with the front struts in the bargain as well. well worth cecking out the cars down there and looking thru each one for the go faster bits you need at a bargain price.

my 2c again

Yeh agree would be fun to do for a laugh been meaning too do it either remove from cat back or extractor exit back and go from a quick spin just to hear it. - Have a huge empty area round the corner from us so be good...

But not a good idea to drive round like it all the time :P ... imagine the look from a copper as you idle beside him at lights lol.

Yer my exhaust looks like a custom made one.
By custom I mean cheaply done home welded one.
Doesnt sound too bad, but was a little drony at 2000rpm, now with the cam sounds pretty good, might look it the paper though for a second hand real one.

Is there anything that you should look for that can stuff up a second hand exhaust?
