Guys, im looking into getting a redback exhaust (Without rear muffler) and wanted to know what sort of "Loudness" i would be getting. I have a pritty heavy right foot and dont want to be pulled over by the cops. If anyone has a recording of their car with a simmalar exhaust it would be greatly appreciated!

I just got a redback with a hotdog for the rear, its loud when you put the foot down, shouldnt have trouble with cops

its sort of like my question .... however the difference with you and me is that i wont have P plates displayed, which is cop bait.
so take that into consideration too. it depends where u drive too..some areas cops are alrite... and there are others who are just on a power trip.

Yeh but if i ease off the revs it wont be too loud for the cops, i drive past a cop shop on the way to work but apart from that there aren't many around.

i am going to record my stock exhaust, and ill record the new one when i get it installed... would be interesting to see the differences!

Its not that loud at all....the cops wont give two s**t about it....

the police havent picked me up tey (knock on wood), but they go a friend of mine, he has a vn 6 with stock headers, and a red-back cat back. he got an epa notice, and had to report to a testing station, so we put the second muffler on, an got it tested. with a 2 muffler red-back he scored 94db, but the tester knocked it down soo he'dd pass.
his car screems cop bait tho, vn hot 6, full group-a kit , oh and P plates p.s. next audio test and tune we should do some exhaust testing...lol. |

Yeah they do meet regulations if you have all the cans on it.
