i was woundering if a tip would produce noise?

yeah i had a twin 3" tip when the car was idling if ya slid it on the zorst it would change the note but i was a big tip they look small just sit it on and see

some tips can effect the noise. a bloke fitted this one with there little flute ridge things around it to his echo and this thing sounded like an F1 car wityh that noise! but generally normal style ones don't effect it.

Yur right it does effet the sound from echoing. I had twin tips over the 21/2 then a 3"x6" and the larger tip sounded louder.

On a stock system .... replacing the tip will make it look better ... but not louder.

Changing mufflers/resonators will give a sound difference though ... so will increasing the diameter of your exhaust system too.
