Hi

Well I finally upgraded the exhaust on the N/A

1. Pacemaker Extractors (Headers)
2. HFC
3. 2.5" Redback Exhaust with Twin Tailpipe Tip

Pre Upgrade (G-Tech): 138-141 kw

Post Upgrade (G-Tech): 149 - 152kw

As expected about a 10kw gain - I'm Happy :D

Thats great new xr, if you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back?
What does it sound like? Can you post up a sound clip of the car?
Cheers, George

Cost = $950 for the whole lot fitted. Unfortunately no reliable dyno guys around. Couple of garages that do have them wanted over $100 for each power run so I relied on my G-Tech.

It sounds great - for what I wanted ie not very noisy but just enough to indicate that something has been done. As for sound clip I will try - have never posted a sound clip before.

That's my BA XT with exhuast, extractors and intake. Sorry for poor sound quality :( It's had a chip done since and now picks up quite a lot better.

$950 is a damn good price for a complete exhaust system. Most of the systems that ive seen for the BA go for a lot more.

Sounds good fnp  So, you ended up going for the edit, good choice. Big difference?

Minor increase in outright power (170rwkw), but the car feels much stronger from idle to 4000rpm. Well worth it. It's using an awful lot more fuel now (~14L/100km) and needs BP Ultimate, but that's on the tuned 98ron program. It should better if switched to the 92ron tune.
