yo guys,

sorry to be a pain in the a***...
ummm... if i wanted to get a new exhaust, including extractors how does this sound?

Pacemaker - PH 4480 - COMPETITION HEADER
Lukey - Ultra Flo Muffler

should i get a lukey cat? or is the stock one fine?
i was thinking of running 2.5" all the way..... am i fine running just the extractors, cat and one lukey muffler? or am i missing something....

also what is the most you guys would pay for something like this? ie. headers, lukey muffler **got quoted like $450ish for the muffler at repco today.... know anywhere else cheaper in melb?** and how much would an exhaust shop charge to do something like this if i got the extractors and muffler??

thanks a heap guys,
Saiken

Just a guess (has been quite awhile since ive needed any exhaust work done) id say for a whole system + fitting would be about $1000 ish ...

I paid $850 for my last exhaust which was comprised of a set of Pacemaker PH4480's and an in house exhaust, press bent (GRRR!!!!) all fitted.

ATM Im running the same pacies, cat and a single large muffler (not sure what brand) and its loud and sometimes a little droney, which could be the holes in the exhaust at work...

PH4480's are mad, you'll love the sound.
Those with a cat and single muffler will probably be fine, loud but fine, depends what youre after.

Also Hi-Flow cats do absolutely 2/5th's of fck all...
The normal cat flows fine as is.
Ask any GOOD exhaust place or mechanic and they will tell you the same, anyone who sais anything otherwise is only after your money!!

Hope that's true because I rang up and exhaust joint and asked them about pacies and a redback and they gave me the quote but said that I ABSOLOUTLY MUST upgrade the cat. "Hmmm" I thought to myself...:P

Any workshop can order them in for you, you might find prices vary depending on exactly how dodgy the place is :)

I paid $450 for my PH4480's and even that is a little pricey i think...
