G'day all.

I am just getting a feel for who may be interested in BF starter motors. These fit all 6 cyl falcon motors from the 60's onwards.

new from for they are about $240.

These are gen-u-wine ford starter motors.

I would be looking at moving them for somewhere round $160 + postage. Or pickup if your in Sydney and wanna come to me.

If you can get em cheaper then good on ya. let me know.. Don't want to know about what your mate can get on trade though...

But if you can get em cheaper, let me know and I'll look at using you as the supplier.

I'll keep the poll open fo 10 days. If your keen you'll reply.

Dave

smaller, dunno about faster, but probably more suited to those who are entertaining the idea of a new starter, I've seen a few threads with people saying their car is slow to crank, mine is one of them, 9/10 its the starter, the ba/bf starter fits everything anyway.

I can't really say there is a gain to be had from running the B series starter, but thought i would put it out there for those who may be interested, at the price i am looking at offering its about $20 BELOW trade from ford or Repco, and its a genuine item, not a refurb or aftermarket.

So to be able to get a brand new for the price of a rebuildI though some other people may also be interested.

Doing nothing more than trying to pass on the savings and good will.

What would people be interested in for a group buy then?

BTW i can also get aftermarket ones for about $130ish.. so if you want to go a cheaper option look that way.

But just trying to see IF there is any interest out there for these.

I can get most late model mechanical so let me know what may suit a group buy for some stuff.

spoke to my mate, he confirmed the B series starters were higher torque starters than e-series and AU starters.

what would postage be to melbourne? and other cities? if you told us that then maybe others around aus could factor that into the cost for consideration.

I have a spare so not needed....
But if they are better at starting with a low battery then I am tempted? Are they gear reduction drive?
I know the toyota ones will start with a smaller battery. One thing that my cars have suffered from is batteries loosing their oomph and the starter being useless click-click.
