I have hurricane extractors (3,2,1) and noticed that the o2 sensor is located where 3 pipes go to one, I was woundering if it would be better if the sensor located where all the pipes meet up into one? Could this stuff up fuel mixtures?

sorry to go off topic, but is it easy to make ur own extractors? or would it be bloody hard?

i know it would involve a lot of trial an error to get the pipes the rite length. as well as the rite material. feel like making, getting bored.

i dont think i would try to make my own extrastors it would be alot of mucking around.
But you would be quite satisfied with yourself if you made them and they came out ok.

if its is where they meet that is fine. u want it as close as u can get it to the head, as it will then heat up quicker and then can start to work faster.

i was thinking the same thing, what about a sensor for each pipe. lol maybe thats overboard. it probably will work the same or just confuse the ECU

no point really having a o2 sensor for each pipe as one it would take longer to heat up, and there wouldnt be enough exhaust flow for it to work. and then have to have input for each o2 for the ecu. there would be no benafits having one for each cly
