i had extractors and a high flow cat fitted last friday and yester i notice loss or power and a funny noise from the exhaust under the bonnet.... any way opened the bonnet and the flanges between the cat and extractors where the sensor is the gasket was hanging out and can feel pressure coming out of it, this ever happened to any one before????

Sounds like a dodgy job, hasn't happened before and I believe you should take it back to the fitter and tell them to fix it.

Obviously they didn't tightenthe bolts up enough, I made that mistake when I fitted mine, long story short jump under either look for a replacement bolt temporarily lift the gasket up tighten both bolts up, don't stress to much though, and then book it in asap, it depends how long it's been like that but you may need to replace the gasket, so I'd be getting them to change it anyway.
suck to have an ongoing exhaust leak.
Also just remember to poke your head under every so often maybe every time you stop etc, just to check it's not fallen apart again.

I remember not long after fitting mine seeing this beamer driving along with its exhaust bouncing up and down as it dragged along the ground, funny to think of on a beamer.

few fixes:

return it.
or
Lightly grind the bolt hole flanges, this helps to pull the joins together.
I've even used 2 gaskets and stag in some cases.

Very normal, they're bare pipes so the exhuast gases will heat them up fast. Wouldnt of noticed it much before because of the heat shield but yeah its normal.

My extractors warm up very quick, sometimes i think mine are on the verge of glowing :lol:

I've never used gaskets on zorsts, only silicon. Works a treat and bends to any shape and fills gaps really well :D
