hey,

if you guys remember i posted asking about SVO Motorsport (east melb).

i dropped in the other day and got quoted for a set of HM Extractors for $410 isntalled. plus he said he could put a XH snorkel in for about $50, then also put in a K&N panel filter, dont know about the price. what is this pricing like? also if anyone has had HM extractors installed in their I6 could you please let me know how they perform.

i asked him how they compare to Pacemaker extractors and he said the HM have a little bit more down low, any thoughts?

i just recently got a major service and the air filter they put in at the mechanics was a bright yellow ryco one, how do they compare to the K&N?

cheers

Daniel

sounds like a fairly good price, as for a price for the k&n filter you'd be looking at atleast $100-110 from memory..

I would stay well away from HM extractors. The ones I recently saw on a mates car looked s**t. They are not mandrel bent and the inner radius of the bends were all creased and wrinkled.

I would go the Pacemakers. I'm sure most people would agree.

I got pacies supplied/fitted for $450, as part of an exhaust package - the est of the exhaust (2.5 mendrel bent) was only $350.
