Plenty of people here are concerned with economy.
Anyone who isnt with current fuel prices has a screw loose, and all the more reason if you own a Falcon as they already stretch the wallet without going out of your way to make it worse when its avoidable.

Since I got my falcon, the performance mods I have done, while not extreme have improved economy considerably overall. My car goes pretty good and is reasonably cheap to run.

To get back on topic, headers can also improve economy a noticeable amount.

Not to say this didnt happen but it sounds a little stretched. Heavier car with less power and higher ratio's . I think you won against a bad driver.

I wouldnt call an auto with a 4.11 diff ratio a good value performance mod. Say goodbye to fuel economy.

lol unless you have 4.11's you dont know what your talking about my economy barely moved with 4.11's..... just a little on the highway but around town no change maybe a little better.

thats like saying a 5 speed has s**t economy.... an auto with 4.11's still doesnt have ratios as short as a 5 speed.

can't have fuel eco with power douche.

if you plan on going to go up against someone and worry about fuel economy, then maybe you shouldn't do any mods to the car at all. Sell the ford and buy yourself a smart car or a small 4 cylinder...that way you don't have to worry about them fuel economy.

...you really love you're auto...or is it because you can't drive stick?
