1800rpm stally????
first, high stallers actually make you lose a few kw. dont ask me how but ask any one who has dynod before and after and theyll tell you
second, the standerd torque converter can rev up to 1800-2100rpm brfore taking off. so your highstaller is no better then stock.
i think you should get ur hed (not thumb) out of your a**. go rent any e-series auto and stock, push the brakes and hand brake full, put the car in 1, and watch the car rev past 2000rpm.

thats impossible on a eb with a stock ecu. it will jump into limp home mode.
to get the maximum out of your high staller you need power. i have a mate with a 3000rpm high staller but when his car was stock it will only go to 2300rpm or so.

prove us wrong, get a video of your speedo, stall it up to 3500rpm and hit 100km/h in 7 seconds and ill belive you that you can beat a manual e-series

Back on topic here,
whats the best style of extractors for a stock-mild 4.0L?

or what?

I'm *going* to buy the first ones, or a set of Pacies from someone on the forums here. What would be better?

I do realise that they are all similar, but I dont have a pic of any other sort on hand. Also, what other types are there?

lol sorry sikeb but a 3.27 ratio is s**t behind an Auto..... ill give you a go with the 4.11's and you'd be eating my dust... unless your running a 3000 stally and a awesome cam with 3.27's you wouldnt beat any manuals that are actually trying.

Righto, so out of the Pacie style, and the ones I posted up, particularly the 1st one, what would be better down low, mid and in the higher revs?

paci comps give a power increase everywhere in the rev range because their tuned length, where as other extractors give most up high in the revs where the standard ones are most restrictive.

1sickEB nice looking car by the way, are you thinking of making the video i ask for or what :)

are you sure about that???!!!

the tuned length and bigger primaries come into their own at higher rpm so you will lose a little down low, the other styles will give you better low-mid range grunt...

in the end, any of the extractors that you posted pictures of are going to give you similar results, if your chasing times or big numbers (only a couple of extra kw), then go comps, if your a daily driver who doesnt give a s**t about that then the choice is yours...

if im wrong someone tell me, and ill eat my words!
