Changed a coil or dizzy in a EB would know. How retarded the engineers are that designed the car.

How is it retarded? Where else is it supposed to go?

There are a few cars going around that have some very unfriendly designs. After working on them, the I6 falcon engine bay is a dream to work in.

Ill second that, and you barely have to touch the dizzys on these engines anyway, not enough to warrant having a sook about it anyway :D

I’m currently replacing my 2nd distributor. Its not much easier the 2 nd time around

I had a Toyota that ran on gas etc etc. I never had to touch the ignition system. Not once.

With my falcon running on GAS it seems endless you need to change spark plugs, spark plug leads dizzies etc etc. Ive replaced everything in the ignition system!!!

I’ve had two Distributors s**t them selves. Its not that hard getting the dizzy out.
Its hard getting it back in. It doesn’t help that it lives underneath the intake manifold

I haven’t owned a commodore and don’t really plan on owning one either. I don’t like German / British designed with American engine. Commodores are about as Australian as budwisher beer !!!

I have owned a Toyota and a Ford.

What I am saying in the Toyota was designed better. It just got to old to justify reparing it anymore. Thus I got my Falcon which as been so so.

If I had more money id be driving Toyota atm but I don’t so I have a ford.

I have rarely had to do anything to the dizzy.
Good call on the coolant temp sensor we should all check that one.
My car has been displaying similar tendancies and a new oxy worked wonders.... I think a coolant sensor may make it work even better

might want to check the O2 sensor, or the MAP sensor, or it could be as simple as a faulty coil lead?

MAP sensor isn't used for LPG, and the O2 sensor is only used on a closed loop/vapour stepper LPG system.
