I have a problem with my car Falcon 1996 Future Sedan Automatic
Transmission breaks down. I gave it to a computer diagnosis. I enclose a copy of the diagnosis. Can I fix it easily?. http://www.polishcameras.com/ford.htm Only this way I could post a picture of computer diagnosis. |

This looks complicated and expensive
 What could be the cheapest fix. Can I do it myself?

Can I do it myself?yes you can do it,its time checking the wires from the loom on the firewall down to the plugs on the gear box,there may be a few damaged-insulation worn or the copper core snapped inside,terminal clips.the white inhibiter swicth on the side wears out,the speedo sender on the other side is a bolt on,the map sensor on the fire wall-vaccum and electrical is replaceable,check the vacuum hose they split.parts at wreckers or new,but do the wiring first,vaccum hose check on the map unit,do you have a manual? you can down load these-http://www.fordmods.com/fordmods-technical-documents-diy-f38/ford-workshop-manuals-pdf-downloads-t113232.html,they are slow to download.

try to pull the auto gearbox harness out of the car,put it onto a bench and get your muti metre out and do a continuity test on all the connectors end to end following the diagram on the file,i burnt my harness on the extractors one time thinking that zip ties would hold the harness away from it but it didnt so i got the wires melting and shorting out so maybe that could be a good start hope that helps

Was broken speed sender unit, so I replaced it. It cost me $ 75.
To complete repairs missing eliminate unpleasant shock when changing gears. When the engine is not warmed up gear change is correct When the engine is warming up, and then, unfortunately, the problem begins. |

The problem began six months ago. I feel the impact when changing gears.
Harsh gear change increases when the engine temperature rises. Interesting, I thought that it is typical for these gearboxes. |

I do not know when. How to check your oil. The car must be at a level?

Will that depends if your car is a series 1 or 2 ef, series 1 have a dipstick, series 2 you have to check front underneath, but most likely needs a service so I wouldn't bother checking the oil and put it in to mechanics to get done, it's not expensive

I swear I will do this service. If it exceeds the $ 75 it will be very expensive
