Well Im about to get back into work in the coming week, and that would mean i have some extra cash to spend on my car shortly...(94 ED XR6)

Only problem is I have no idea where any Exhaust Shops, Performance Shops etc are for all my performance needs (Apart from one suggestion so far)

Firstly, What order do you guys usually go in for performance parts.. eg Headers, Heads, Extractors, Chip, Then onto the Lightweight pistons etc...

Im going to keep it NA, I also havent dealt with these motors before, so I dont know how to get the easiest power from them... Aside from a Manual Conversion, I don't really know what I'm going to do... Probably a Cam and Chip first.. anyone know where to get it and where to get them fitted?

Anyone around really experienced with these fords?
Cheers for the info
Steve

headers and exhaust first mate, easiest things to get done first. save the chip/computer work for last when you have done all the upgrades, saves you from having it retuned.

Its already got a sports exhaust, but whoever the idiot was that did the exhaust used the Standard Headers...

Now the Exhaust is probably too old to add headers without a new exhaust system...
Whats the best Combo for Exhaust, cat and Muffler for the ED?

You see, the cat back and extractors are separate.

I have an 'exhaust' (cat back) with std extractors (though not for much longer).

So you might want to look at getting extractors and hi-flow cat, and make sure your exhaust is 2.5" bent mandrel.

Perth in WA dude.. Oh dang.. didnt change my State ...

The exhaust is Getting a lil old now anyway, anyone from an exhaust Shop would recommend I fit a new system anyway. Don't think it is Mandrel.. Only problem is I like the Sound of it
