Hi all
Just wondering what sort of intake mods ppl have carried out on their FG n/a XR6s am interested in perhaps buying this kit... ferntree-gully-auto-salvage-f24/fg-6cyl-cold-air-intake-now-available-t67273.html?hilit=intake anyone else done this mod? good results? bad?? Cheers, Josh

You can buy the Air Cleaner for $90.00 from Ford and the Snorkel is $60.00.
Part Numbers BG 9600 B and BG 9A624 B. |

I have the kit fitted. Definitely improves throttle response and acceleration. I tried an SS Inductions kit and I wasn't very satisfied. The stock look is also much better, IMO. A good buy.
Keep in mind that if you buy the parts direct from Ford you'll have to modify the inlet snorkel to allow your bonnet to close. |

would there be any gain to running an ss induction kit along with the v8 airbox?
