Hi all

Just wondering what sort of intake mods ppl have carried out on their FG n/a XR6s

am interested in perhaps buying this kit...

anyone else done this mod?
good results? bad??

You can buy the Air Cleaner for $90.00 from Ford and the Snorkel is $60.00.
Part Numbers BG 9600 B and BG 9A624 B.

Ride: 2008 FG XR6

I have the kit fitted. Definitely improves throttle response and acceleration. I tried an SS Inductions kit and I wasn't very satisfied. The stock look is also much better, IMO. A good buy.

Keep in mind that if you buy the parts direct from Ford you'll have to modify the inlet snorkel to allow your bonnet to close.

would there be any gain to running an ss induction kit along with the v8 airbox?
