Hi There Friendly Ford owners , OK Is this right- AutoTech (Hume ACT) tells me with Just a Flash Tune I will gain 15-20% more power. thats 30-40kw, and they reckon the same for torque
So they say 20 -25nm more and something that got me excited was it's through the fullrpm range
0 - 7000rpm

And they tell me they can resorte the factory setting if I need to claim warranty

IS THIS CORRECT

30 -40kw(not at the wheels)

I have put 20inch wheel on it, 245/35/R20, I'm going to low it 1.5 inch...

Now I have been talking to these guys in Hume (ACT) AutoTech.

I told them I didn't want to do Hi Flow Cold air intake, Exhaust so on and so on until the warranty runs out. But I don't know If I going to keep for 5 more years

I assuming any change will void the warranty

BUT these guys at AutoTech tell me they could Flash Tune , and put it back if I needed to claim warranty.

Amen brother. He has a point though, the tune can be returned to stock with Ford never being any the wiser. They will know if a new exhaust and intake was put on etc. If you don't want the menacing roar of the falcon screaming loud, and the gentle growl of the air intake barking away, then go ahead and get a good tune for it. Will definately make a difference, not only in power but in fuel economy.

+1
But stock, the FGs are pretty beefy with the Barra engines.
190ish kW from memory.

Exhaust are satisfying from more than one point as well.
The note they make are just great.

Where i'm from changing anything voids your warranty.. It has to stay exactly as you drove it out of the yard.
