whats the best way to fill up gear box with oil, a funnel and hose or is there a better easier way to do this??

i use a length of hose and a funnel and fill it from the engine bay..

yeah thats what i do just seeing if they was an easier way, what about filling the diff up with oil how u go about that??

if you have the smaller oil bottles with the little hose on top you can get the bottle in there upside down and squeeze the oil into the diff but if the hose pops out, oil goes all over you..

so i normally use the same method as the gear box, except the hose runs up through the wheel arch keeping funnel and hose is well above the diff..

I once had a hand pump that screwed onto 1lt oil bottles. Don't know where it went or if you can still buy them.

I have one of those oil pumps, its pretty old and I havent seen one like it for a while now, its pretty much all metal and rubber hose instead of the plastic crap in supercheap.
It screws onto your bottle, has a bit of pipe with a metal tip bent at 90 degrees to hook into your box/diff. ebay doesnt even have anything remotely like it lol, absolute magic bit of gear.

u can get a oil transferring pump from supercheap for about 18bucks..done my diff perfectly and about to change my gearbox oil with it aswell
