Hey all! This is my first post so be nice to me :D I've recently bought a '04 BA XR6 and am considering my first mod. But don't know whether Growler intake or cat back exhaust system? Which is more likely to benefit me more? Which will give me more power?
Cheers!

How large is your wallet? What are you wanting to do? Are you on your P Plates and if so, how long til you go full license?

Pretty much I decide what I want and then save for it, so my wallet is however big I want it to be, but I'd rather not have to save for 6 months just to gain 4-5 kw's. I'm wanting performance before looks, a sleeper for the time being (but I don't know what to start with, hence the post). I am on my P's but not for much longer

personally i would of saved my coin a little longer and gone for an xr6T but obviously not what you wanted otherwise you would of made this decission?

the underdrive pulleys are a popular mod along with the intake/ exhaust and a tune to bring it all together at the end. if you wanted to pour more money in you can always change the cams aswell, altho they arent a popular mod on the BARRA engine.

Pssht, I tried getting an XR6t but couldn't get the finance for it -_- bloody banks. If my end goal is the have the Intake, exhaust and pulleys does it matter what order I do it in?

doesnt matter what you do first, as long as you wait until the end to give it a tune

The best mods in my opinion are the ones where you can see, hear or feel an imidiate difference, such as an exhaust system.

powerbond 20% underdrive pulleys.$299

also if your going to purchase off "tuff car parts" on ebay, best to go sign up for an account on boostedfalcon.net and speak to them on there, pretty sure they offer a small discount for boostedfalcon members
