First: have you used up all your petrol, if not, you are going to get a face full when you take out the sender, and, believe me....... IT HURTS!!!!!!

Alternatively, have a bucket under where the sender goes in and GRADUALLY remove the sender as the petrol comes out. !!AND I MEAN SLOWLY!!!

Wires are disconnected from inside beside the fuel tank. Passenger side. grommet is pushed through from inside beside fuel tank

Outer ring is tapped off with a hammer and drift on the ring tabs.

You will need to buy a new gasket from Ford. About 20 bux

Inner retaining plate???? :?
