Ok so I will get a PWR trans cooler & fit it to the BA.
But would it be a good idea to replace auto radiator if internals are know to fail?
Do the manual radiators have probs in BA's ?
Would a V8 BA radiator fit in a BA 6cyl & would it increase cooling capacity? :?

V8 radiator will fit fine, my XR6 has one. I wouldn't bother replacing your existing radiator though if all your worried about is it fouling your auto, an external cooler bypassing the radiator will be more then enough. Just empty all the old trans fluid out of your radiator in case it does go and plug up the holes.

I bypassed my radiator when I did my trans cooler. Just left the lines off, and that was it.

It leaked for a day or so IIRC, but that was the end of it.

Std 6 radiator is 16mm from memory single row, V8s and Turbo are 27mm twin core , fit in the exact same spot - and cost around $400 trade to upgrade ..Cheers
I run a lower stat & fan speed is controlled through my Flashtune , i have never had a temp issue, bigger rad would give peace of mind though ... 8-)

If you need one, or if you play to really punish the car doing trackdays or something get one.

If your existing one is fine don't bother.
