Take CRAZY, remove the CR, and add an L.

Reason I won't be going manual anytime soon

Yeah... Partly that...

But city driving and towing is a b**ch with a manual... Ever tried to tow a boat up a normal ramp with a manual Ford... Not fun, poor clutch...

But I do miss the controlled performance of a manual. :(

Hi Guys

Couldnt get to the MAP sensor as in the au they sit under the manifold and to get to the them i need to split the manifold in half (or so ive been told). Too it our friendly fraud dealer who hooked it up to the computer and the only test it failed was the idle.

No faults with any sensors or anything like that. The guy told me that we might need to check the fuel system. First the tank to see if it has any dirt stuff in it. If it does they they wana replace the fuel lines as they cant clean em apparently. Then Clean the injectors. Cost $1400

If the Tanks not got crap in it they would just clean the injectors
Clean injectors $150
Check tank $75

Wat do u guys think, let me know if i can do anything other than be prepaired to spend $1400.

I find it hard to believe it would be a fuel problem.

If there are any issues with fuel starvation, they would happed at higher RPM. I cant see it running like s**t below 3500 with clogged fuel lines, then magically getting better over 3500 rpm.

And just because the computer says the sensors are good, it doesn't mean its correct. It just means they are within a range the ECU determines is good. I've replaced many a faulty sensor that an ECU reported as good, because when I checked the sensors individually, I found one it was out of spec for those conditions.
