I reckon you should buy a new cat next.

Either that or I hope you get pulled up on your punched out cat. Here is a lesson for all those whining in the other thread about P platers getting defected about why do P platers get picked on.

But you just said in this thread that the auto was 'fairly healthy'

Make up your mind.

These are your words

yeh so in the middle. fairly healthy. fairly shagged. in the middle. not f**k. but not brand new. don't try and catch me out. i know what i said

You said fairly healthy which means not shagged. Who cares...

A shift kit is good for your auto supplied that it hasn't overly increased the line pressure. Hint: if you get a tyre screech through every change it is probably too firm.

any car that was fitted with anything to cut down emmissions has to keep it fitted to the car, altho you can get away with an aftermarket cat unless the car gets tested and it exceeds the amount of bad emmisions it had from factory

the cam numbers you listed were for a crossflow engine. which is like the XD-XF etx engine. WAde cams is a sponsor of Fordmods and has a thread on here. you can ask them the best cam suited for your car

ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/3-9l-4-0l-inline-6-modification-guide-t66.html

This helped me heaps with performance mods on my old EA, although I couldn't do all of them on the CFI.

Just chuck on an exhaust, cam, XR6 intake, get your exhaust joint to make up a PVC intake, and you'll be happy with the results... but unhappy with the price.
