Anyone had problems screwing the black retaining ring onto the top of the fuel pump cover??? I cant get it to go on no matter how i try, is there some trick to it?? Or will bashing it work???

You need to apply A LOT of downward pressure to overcome the large o-ring that seals the tank. Try climbing into the boot and using most of your body weight to try and help compress the o-ring until the screw bites.

Lol i thought of that line from your sig when i was bashing the thing on with a mallet :D worked a treat thanks.
