My gas is running rough on idle but is fine on petrol. Could it have something to do with the ignition?

Could be. The leads or plugs might be "good enough" for petrol but break down when handed the task of igniting the LPG. Need to know more about the situation before making suggestions.

Does it run okay on LPG otherwise ???

Its a sprint gas system and its a falcon ED. It only runs rough on gas when ideling. Otherwise its runs perfect same with petrol.

Ignition lead insulation breakdown causing crossfire. Pop the bonnet at night in a dark area with no street lights etc and see if there are any blue flashes etc from the leads..

sweet fixed it. one of the leads were gone so nice easy fix
