hey guys , i've got a ef with an auto, lately the gearbox won't select gears and just picks up revs and takes ages to move anywhere. it only happens when the car is warm and only when i go to start it after stopping? is this the bands or what??
anyone have any ideas??? cheers |

The slush box falcons arnt good for that at all. i'd say take it to a trans place, maybe try and get some fault codes out of it.

haha yeah it right on the full line so it's probably f**ked. how much will it cost to put a new one in it? how much more for a manual???

not sure 100%
i think rebuilds depending on parts are like $400 upwards depending how many solinoids are rooted, then getting in to the thousands for full replace. manual conversion is $1500 because of the fact the boxes are a little rare and people know you want one
