ok i have just bought a ef auto police ecu off ebay and im wondering something..... can i now use a wilder cam than before with my old auto ecu??

Nope. The only differences are that you can rev out all the way to the rev limiter now in every gear.. and also there's no speed limiter.

is there any way of telling if ur car is an ex cop car?
i got an ef2 xr6. the bloke i bought it off said it was an ex cop car, but how can ya tell? |

I brought a police ecu off Ebay as well for my EL wagon. I rang the local Ford dealer and he confirmed that it was a police ecu. My engine is standard, i now find it seems to run smoother and revs harder ( 2nd gear 110 kph ) I'm happy with mine

i can do that in my EL fairmont......but i dun think its an ex cop car....gotta check it out now. got me all curious.
