Hello again all.
For those who saw my previous topic, I got a 2.5" Lukey exhaust fitted a while ago. This is a straight-through with only one muffler (had a reso but got it chopped). I had a few requests for sound clips so I have posted them here. Sorry to be so late, haven't had the car for a while. The first clip is the car idling. Sounds to mean, tough, lumpy, etc etc lol. Have had alot of 'nice V8' comments which is very satisfying. The second clip is from inside the car, all windows winded up, stereo/air con off. I moved around a little bit while recording and my PDA's mic is really sensitive so you will hear a few little clicks. Let me know what you think. The files are in MP3 format so should work for all  Sorry I had 2 put them on Rapidshare, which may be annoying but I couldn't attach to this forum so yeh. Let me know what you think!!

nothing like the lukey growl, i get comments all the time how mine sounds like a V8, i am waitig for dad to get a minute or two to take my car for a drive so i can hear how diff the 5spd is over the auto

i just downloaded it, the inside car clip, sounds like ur outside the car lol, it sounds like a v8 mate,

Now that you pointed it out, it sorta does sound like I'm outside the car doesn't it. It's actually MUCH louder outside the car (I can hear it idling from inside my room when my mom takes it to work/etc...a good 20 metres through walls).
I'll definitely get a clip of driving outside the car next time someone drives it lol.

sounds good for a 6 cyl.. but it definetly dosnt sound anywhere near a v8,

on the weekend i just put a ressy on my exhaust because it sounded that loud, i reckon it was as loud as a v8 once the extractors was on with new cat, extractors were pacemaker comps, shop centre's and enclosed places loved me with my exhaust hehe

maybe its just my computer but it keeps saying "File Not Found". im using DAP to download my files....maybe its the program?

Nice sound. I cant get the driving one but meh. Cant wait to get my lukey with no ressy. LOL

Nah disable any downloading programs, just use the normal IE or Firefox one...I checked again and both links should be working. Rapidshare is sorta gay and does have problems so yeh. Sorry.

Nice, would sound nice outside the car I'm tipping. Is it a straight through designed muffler?
