thing is grechies car/time/rwkw is freakish.....

90% of other people with same mods, over 150rwkw, still run low 15/high 14's

Grechie, how much torque did you have when the 1673 was putting out 174rwkw?

From your dyno runs, I'd like to know what the difference in torque is between the two cams. On their website, Wade say the 977b generates less torque.

Hey bud

On hallams dyno, it showed 4200nm tractive effort though

This thread is gold!! Been waiting for something like this lol. This has convinced me even more to go the 977b path 8-)

Grechie, are you still running the stock 91AA head?

Yep sure am :)

Nothing wrong with 15's, didn't you run some really low profile tyre for the 13.7? Not taking anything away from you, you ran the time in a full street legal E-Series, AFAIK You have the fastest Street Legal SOHC N/A 6 in AUS.

my power was on a mainline dyno too, on the track (manual) you can reclutch second and have it fishy for about 100 or so meters on 235's. on stockies in can do second gear donuts and figure of 8's on the brakes. it impresses everyone thats had a ride in it. make me want to rebuild it and stuff. but then i remember not to waste my money on a n/a six just to max out at 180rwkw's.. its forsale too 4g's and its yours!

Your right, Internet doesn't let you get the full depth of what someone means. All they would have done was made shorter gearing even shorter, hence, more gear changes, but quicker acceleration

Mate you ran 97 odd MPH, based on the weight of the car its where it should be for the claimed power. regardless of what the dyno or anyone els says about, your MPH backs up your claims.

Thanks man :)

But to be honest it did 100mph that night twice, just on the 13.7 run i hit the rev limiter ~50m from the line, and i missed 5th gear so i rolled over with clutch in, it dropped a few kays in the process (rev limiter is voilent lol)
