Where is best place to get the Growler kit for the xr6...
i have looked around they all retail for like $450 - $600.. anyone know where i can get one cheaper??? Are they fairly easy to install also..... |

I picked up mine on ebay for $280- bargain, thats the only reason why I have one atm.
They are really easy to install. Bang for buck you cannot go past the Typhoon airbox and lower snorkel.

Yeah the cheapest i managed to find one if $450 as well. I think i have found a retail shop that will do it for about 400 but this was just talking to the guy. I to would be interested in anywhere cheaper

Thankz mate.. that not a bad price, but yer the cheapest i seen or can get it is like $450, might be able to get one cheaper through my work.. will check it out..
they look alright wen they are installed.... I got a non turbo though.. only on da P's... But power with out turbo is a must... Thankz for da pics... |

I think that it would be so easy to make something like that for $50 bucks or less out of Fiberglass
And yes, it could look as good as these $450 dollar jobs if you take your time. I'm gunna give it a go. IMO many of these aftermarket Mods look cool & probably work well but they are an absolute rip off. |

Itlooks alright.. but how it sits i dont like... the growler kit sits better i seen em up close...
an would prefer to keep parts from same company as i have throttle body from ss inductions too... but not a bad substitute for 50bucks... always good option... |

Hey mate did you find much of an improvement from the bigger throttle body? its only 5mm bigger and costs like 700bux so wondering if its really worth it?
Edit - this was the cheapest site i could find, used to be $450 but they put the price up to $475 now but i got an email from the guy saying he would sell it to me for the $450 http://www.onautos.com.au/epages/opa.sf ... cts/CAI024

Yer man, even though it only little increasem but i got a 80mm for it instead 75mm..
they fit on from the xr8.. You def feel difference.. better repsonse in throttle.. i get a lil better fuel economy... i would say 750 is a bit steep for em.. but it up to urself... yer the kit is expensive... will keep hunting around for cheaper one an keep yall posted.. |

Oh ok i didnt know there was different sized onea from ss, hmm maybe i will look into it, perhaps if i can get a 90mm one that wud b sweet, where did u get urs and how much?

yer i had the ss in 75mm, but the upgraded to an 80mm through another company...
Cant member brand but set me back bout $450-550 i think.. But it alright...cant wait to get the growler kit for it... |

Oh ok, hmmm perhaps i will look into the throttle body last but def get an 80mm minimum. I cant wait to get my growler kit either
